New Player Registration
Registration for new players for the 2024-2025 season will start May 21, 2024.
SMHA’s hockey program consists of both recreational (House league) and competitive team (Rep)
opportunities. Divisions include U7 – U9, U11, U13, U15, and U18. We also support the Sea to
Sky Bears Shared Rep Program in partnership with Whistler Minor Hockey Association for divisions U15
and U18. In a typical season, which runs from September through March, the teams have regular
practices two to three times per week with one or more games per week. Games consist of both home
and away competitions. Each team has the opportunity to experience at least one away tournament per
season.
If you are planning on registering, please contact the SMHA Registrar to begin the process of obtaining a Hockey Canada Registration (HCR) number for your child(ren).
All parents/caregivers of new players or players transferring to SMHA must provide the required forms
and supporting documentation prior to registration. Please hand-sign all signature lines as a typed or
digital signature will be declined.
Please email all requirements to our Registrar Conny Bonthron
registrar@squamishminorhockey.
